What to Expect

1_ You will be picked up from Tangier port or your hotel or nearest pickup point in Tangier and taken in an air-conditioned van for a tour private of Chefchaouen. 2_ Tetouan Upon arrival in Tetouan, your driver will take you to your local guide and begin your tour of Tetouan by visiting the ancient medina of Tetouan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ancient medina of Tetouan was once a pirate hub and the capital of Spain during the colonial era. The Romans destroyed Tétouan and it was repopulated in the 16th century. Tetouan was a refuge for Jews, Moors and Moriscos who escaped the Spanish Inquisition and many of the city’s residents still speak Spanish.
